what is this and how do i use it???

i got this a while back for helping a buddy build a box, i need to know exactly what it is and what it's used for, and also if its worth anything, i know fultron was memphis before they changed their name, so i expect it to be of good quality.....sorry for the dumb question, and thanks in advance

that is an electronic crossover...you can use to run an active system such as each mid and tweet having its own amplified channel....this would be placed before the amp andwould divide the signal between the speakers

if yyou dont plan to go active the only use for it could be a sub crossover if your amp's crossover is not sufficient

i have an orion 1200d, but im gonna try and hook it up tomorrow, when i get my box done.....so only use if for the subs??i have an amp for my future comps, but i can't use it for subs and comps???

p.s. how old is it??

no point in using it for the comps since they come with crossovers..for the subs you can use it for your low pass crossover
