What is the timeframe to file a Paypal claim / chargeback?

Just wondering about this and figured I might as well find out now before its too late. From the time you make a payment to someone, what is the timeframe you have to file a claim or chargeback on Paypal if you have not received your items after a few weeks, etc?

I believe its 90 days. If its been a few weeks Id file.

Yes the transaction was done via this site. While I will not mention any names (yet), I am going to be a little patient for the next few days before I do this...

Welp if it's been a good amount of time and the guy seems to just be delaying or not responding to messages I'd say ask for a refund or file a claim whenever you feel acceptable.

Heh knew the name looked familiar off ebay.. Yeah pretty sure it is 90 days. I would go ahead and file a dispute to get a record of you trying to get this resolved.

Update : Giving the guy until Friday to let me know whats up. I am kinda nervous now - I read some stories about sellers closing their bank accounts before a claim and the buyer getting nothing thereafter??? Wow is this true? :/

yep, this is correct. had some ****** in iraq try to scam me out of a alpine double din i sold overseas, NEVER DOING THAT SHIT AGAIN...... anyways, after having $450 taken from me for 2 months while they finally figured out he was trying to scam me even though i had proof he was since day 1, i was refunded my money
