What is the energy of the future?

Kinda stumped on helping my sister with a science energy project. One question is what is the energy of the future, the sloest answer and more common I found was hydrogen, but couldnt find any explanations or reasons WHY it was going to be.

Anyone have any insight on the question?

if science can figure out a eazy cheap way to split water in to oxygn and hydrogen atoms seperately - then its definately 100% hands down hygrogen power > any thing else

but till then - we shal see great leaps on solar + wind + water power.

hoover dam = hydro electricity

fed ex shipping wearhouse = solar / the entire roof is solar panels - whole shipping of fed ex

runs off sun power alone - and they make so much extra - they feed it in to the main power grid and the electric company pays them money for it. search it. crazy.

Incorrect, the holy grail of power is Nuclear Fusion, same energy the sun has. If we can find an efficient way of doing that, then we have all the energy we would every need. To bad it has been 40 years away, for 40 years .... if you get my drift

X2 on nuclear fusion, if we make it that far, if not than probably a combination of many different types, nuclear, geothermal, and wind. solar is just too high maintenance.
