What is Northern Wisconsin MECA coming to these days..?

On Saturday I went to a comp hosted by Sound N Logic in Rice Lake, WI. I showed up and say that it was a bunch of ricers and was a little skeptical, then as I walked through the competitors I noticed that no one was running any more obscure high quality brands like DC, DD, AQ, Fi, RE, and such. The one person that everyone thought was so loud and cool was running 1 12" L7 off a Kenwood amp firing into the car from the trunk. I was also looking around at box designs and such and one guy had 3 10" MTX8500 square subs and had a port shaped like a triangle that was bound to have port noise. I EVEN SAW 2 TYPE X'S POWERED BY A BOSS AMP!! Now I have one question, what is Northern WI MECA coming to?
