actually I think its 1300rms. not a bad sub at all. I wouldnt give it more than 1000 watts myself, but Ive heard a few and they get pretty loud for the money. they just sound like mud

edit: if your l7 is in a half decent box, it shouldnt have any trouble getting louder though

they are beefy looking for sure.. i bet the guy is going off magnet size alone.. Chances are, he puts it in a terrible box, and runs a garbage amp on it...

what else does your system consist of??

If he were smart, which he apparently ISNT.. he can get a HDC3 for a lil more, or a set of RSDc 12s or something comparable

they dont sound good but take a some decent power friend had one on a hifonics herc at 1 ohm so around 2k but gains were way down or it would bottom out

for the price theres better

hi buddy lol they are decent and if there was two involved which there was going to be then it would be no competition hifonics amp 2500D running to them two woa nasty but they do sound like A S S!!! lol. good for bass crappy on sound quality you do have bad A sound quality in the durango.
