What happened?

I went to use a sub I haven’t run for a while and nothing. I visually inspected it and checked the resistance and everything seems good. It has been sitting in a damp shed that sometimes gets critters. I’m actually not that disappointed because now I have an excuse to rebuild it to a d2 but I’m curious what the problem is

Im sure its a Moisture issue. One of the reasons why Ive always stored my goods indoors in a dedicated room mainly. Coils are prob caked together more than likely.. But... you never know, you could get lucky if it frees up

When I put it in the car before it seemed like it was vibrating at one frequency but it was hard to tell over the door speakers. Redid the wiring twice, changed amps and still the same.
I just pop tested it and both coils did what they should so I decided to test the coils individually on the amp and both were working fine. I threw it back in the box and it’s playing like it never missed a beat.
