What happened?

I was driving around today and I wasn't even playing my musci loud or the bass high. When all of a sudden the sub makes a pop noise and stops playing to the music. I pulled over to see what was up. The sub was pulsating like a heartbeat. It wasn't getting a signal from the head unit. But the amp was still giving power to the sub, the sub was just like du du du du and so on. I don't think something went wrong with the sub because it didn't smell and it still moves in and out good. What happened?

I have an Audiobahn A8000T amp (mono), a SPLW10 sub, and a 1.3cu.ft. box. I hhad the amp level almost all the way up. Since the sub can handle more than the amp puts out.

Hey Jack, nothin happened to the sub. I tested it with my friends amp and it works perfectly fine. I also have been running it like this for a year.So before you go around and talk about how dumb I am, I'd shuddup and know all the details first. Out
