what happened to my head unit?

have a similar problem. Well... i have an eclipse deck that crapped out on me. i might of blown a fuse dont know. call sony tech support or email them and hopefully they will give you all possibilities and answers to them. if not then...

Check all your wires, make sure nothing's loose, most likely when you tapped into the HU's amp power wire (or w/e the hell that wire is) for the remote wire for your amp you made something come loose, happened to me before.

yah see my whole HU started messin up when we started workin on the amp.. and it messed up the batterie so i had to get a new one... would that have caused anything to mess up too?

What, did you short out the power wire to the chassis or something?
