The setup in my sig and avatar. My back window rattles like a mother****er...

it doubt its your window, thats what i thought in my truck but it was the cabin, then i got that fixed, but my bed liner rattles cuz its a pos

and what shakes.....everything....literally everything in that car shakes. what flexes...hrmmm everything.

What Shakes (everything!!), but these are really annoying:

-Moonroof. When its shut, it rattles like crazy. I don't think its mounted tight enough.

-Glove box and center console. When its empty, it rattles too. Not much point in having a glove box or console when there's nothing in them.

-Driver and passenger door. No speakers in either of them because I have kicks, but there's a small *tink* noise on low notes (loose screws).

-Back hatch area. I have some deadening back there, but this is where the most noise comes from. The rear hatch door rattles like crazy because the port is pushing air directly into it. The deadening does NO GOOD when there is that much air coming from a huge 9 cube box. This is mostly due to error from Ford when designing the Explorer. Teh back hatch just isn't sturdy and solid. I just pushed a comforter in betwen the hatch and the box and it helped deaden a little bit.

-Rear hatch molding. I really need to get some more deadener in there. A good layer or two of some liquid deadener should do the trick. Probably a project I'll start on next summer.

Its funny because a lot of my friends think the more stuff that rattles in their car, the better. Rattles really annoy me, but its the price you pay when you have 2 15's in the back of an SUV.

When I had a 15" Bhrama and 1000rms tuned to 32htz/4 cubes in a 96 Escort Station wagon, I got 1/16" of windshield flex, 1/4" of flex out of the SRS airbag cover, and other misc rattles here and there.

No, it is my back window. My back window slides, and it doesn't fit as snug as it probably should. When it is rattling, if you apply pressure to it, it will stop rattling. I wouldn't just guess like that.

in my truck the dash flexes/rattles like crazy. then the rear window rattles a little, so do the front side windows when the are rolled down about an inch you can see the whole window shake like crazy, and dont even try to look at your mirrors.

when i had two 13W7's in the cobra, the fin on the trunk lid would go crazy. the whole car sounded like it was going to fall apart. then i went to a single orion h2 12", lots of body panels rattling, then i went to a 12w6v2 sealed and spent a lot of time tracking down rattles and nothing really rattled, except for the mirrors. oh and should i mention that the rear view mirror would fall off the slide hook.

my rear decklid shakes so bad and its very annoying, my taillight that is in my rear window fell off a few times, seats, rearview mirrors, rear bumper, car sounds like a jackhammer on the outside //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif very annoying, cant wait to sound deaden everything next summer. my girlfriend hates my system, she says it gives her a headache.

the sub in my boat is under the drivers side dash. talk about your balls vibrating. the hardest hitting/cleanest sounding bass i personally have had, and it is litterally two feet from my balls.

Well my current car dosent flex or rattle too much thanks to hushmat. Maybe you guys should check into some good deadner for your rides. Well I will say my wiperblades turn on from the bass,lol!

My old cutlass that had the 4 9500s in it shattered my back window 3 times. That was alot of money I didnt want to spend, but oh well.

My whole car shakes and the back part of the car flexes especially the back tail gate door. Roof has some flexing too.
