I think it was whenever my friend showed me his brothers setup. He had a JVC headunit I can't remember the model and two older model rockfordfosgate 15"(around 2000 model). We listened to Still D.R.E and man I was hooked.

I partied with a guy while I was in high school and he showed me his system. It was I think a 95 cavalier with 4 12" kicker solo-barics (the round ones, old school!) and I could hardly breathe in it. That was like 1999. He later got 2 15" Atomics and I laughed at him and told him how stupid he was for getting rid of them, i felt kinda stupid after I got in his car!

for me, it just seems that ive always loved car audio. I was always fascinated by the local d-boys and others on how there car went boom as a child, as i got older friends had systems so i started off small and gradually worked my way up.

to sum it all up i guess friends got me into the car audio thing, but before that my dad and i put together a system in our old school back when i was in middle school
