Yeah, I went back and talked to the person I had talked to before and appearantly I miss interpreted him. He said "It isn't bad for the subs, it will just distort however. On the other hand, if you try to make a speaker play lower than it should it is not healthy for the speaker/sub because it will try to excur more than it is meant to." But how many of those knobs just say "frequency?" I know all about HPF, LPF, etc. Your not telling me anything new. But he didn't ask what the "LPF Frequency/filter" knob or "HPF Frequency/filter" knob do. He asked what the "frequency" knob does and yall were being an @$$ to the guy because yall couldn't figure out what he was asking when it stated it directly in his topic name. I'm not trying to sound smart. I don't see how in any way my statements have tried to sound smart at all. The only thing I did was point out a word that a guy was calling me that doens't even exist, kinda like in Scrabble. Yes, "What does the frequency knob do?" And I told him that it was used as a frequency cutoff except I was only talking in terms of LPF and forgot to mention HPF. By the way, just because you won't to learn more about something doesn't mean you don't already know alot about it. Seriously. Example, I'm a Hstory Major in college. I already know more than the average person does about history, yet I still take more history classes because there is always something you can still learn. (And before yall say anything, that is not an attempt to sound smart, that was purely an example supporting my statement about learning more in something you already have knowledge in.)
