This box is for 2 audiobahn aw1505. 15" 1000rms getting about 800 each. It is 7.4cuft before sub displacement and port is tuned to 36hz. frequency of my jimmy is about 41hz with my old subs(2 12s).

Do you think it will be big enough for these subs and is the tuning ok. I have heard they need 3.2-3.5 cubes per sub and a tuning of 35-36 should sound pretty good.

3.5 for a 15" woofer is a fairly standard size, and I doubt that your subs displace more than .4 ^ft between the pair, even if they do you should be fine.

Make sure that your calculations are on que before building though, go ahead and account for the woofer displacements and figure out your exact tuning. Should do fine.

when you put 2 subs in a common space you don't have to have each subs required volume, i.e. 2 cubes per sub = 4 cubes vs say 3.5 in a shared space box for 2 subs instead of 4 cubes in divided chambers.

so do you think i could get away with a 6.5cuft box before sub displacement. i would like to keep some of my cargo area and with the box i drew, it is pretty much gone
