What do you think of this setup? 1 12" Rockford T1 series in Q-Logic Box with a 980 watt power aquistics Amp and a 2.0 Farad Cap (for when i upgrade) with a kenwood x590 head unit using a 4 guage power and ground wire? Will this be good or no? Thanks.

Should i use 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub? The amp is benched at 460 watt bridged @ 4 ohms.

that is a great sub. but i would rather put the money for a pre-fab box to a custom built ported box made to the sub's specs. also that amp would be a tad bit overrated but it'd work for now. ditch the cap, upgrade your "big 3" (stickied at the top of the section), and upgrade your battery.

btw what amp is that? model number please.

according to the specs they can handle 600rms. so that amp will be fine then. i just thought with it being a TI driver, that it'd require more power. but you'll be fine with that amp then.

also if your amp does at least 600rms@2ohms, then get the dual 4ohm version.
