If you are worried about potholes you might consider going with a smaller wheel then an 18, that way you will be able to retain some of your sidewall and not throw off the speedo. I have 16's on my Saab (the factory 3 spoke ones) and I think that size wise they look great, even on the large wheelwells of the 9000. If I got new wheels I personally wouldn't put anything bigger then 17's on my car. To each his own though, and those wheels get my stamp of approval in the looks department.

Now go get alot of stickers, and take off that nice AEM cold air intake and replace it with PVC pipe, and go get a wing from pepboys, and a shit load of neon, maybe a set of stick on hood pins, and one of those little chrome steering wheels that tyresse had on 2 Fast 2 Furious. then you will be ready to go, oh yeah and get a fart cannon that = +10 MPH. LOL Just jokin with you, those wheels will look dammn nice, and how is the fiberglass comming?

while it may not be the worst kind of rice, it is still ugly. Not to mention using one of the most stock-rice cars of the last 5 years. The new body eclipses are 16 year old magnets, they see them in the dealership and think F&F! and beg the parents to buy it.. because they are pretty cheap, parents decide its ok and kid thinks of everything he can do to make it the badest ride in highschool, usually putting on rims, some colorful intake, and exhaust.

Well I am 29 and have the GTS version and is all stock, the way it will stay. It costs me and arm and leg in gas, hence the reason I got the cavalier for daily driving.
