I actually got scouted and went to some camp in Montreal forget the name now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I miss it I have not been on the ice since Iwas 18. My wife had twins when I was a senior in HS or else I would have went and played D1 or Junior A. Wow memory lane.

Score goals + big kid + strong in front of the net + know how to clear + know how to hold the line + speed = lots of scholarship $ ... at least here anyway. We need a defenceman or two ... I thought they were on drugs the entire last season.

I made a decision and I don't regret it. My family is well taken care of, and I wanted to be around while they grow up. If I would of kept playing I would of had to move and my wife would of struggled to take care of the kids and not have gotten a chance to go to college.

Id rather do music than play hockey, hence the reason im doing that now.

I had to sit out awhile after mid-am tryouts cause some ****er from michigan dislocated my knee in a scrimmage. hit me from behind while i was digging in the corner. ****ing bastard.

for the past 2-3 years ive just played roller hockey but now that im 21 i have to play adult which is no fun. i could also play for uk, but that would be no fun either because they are horrible.

Cool. Sorry about your knee. I have had my fair share of injuries. I have a stress fracture in my L5 bone because some punk checked me from behind 6 ft off the boards when I was going into the corner. I am lucky I did not break my neck. Just a broken thumb a busted chin and the stress fracture were the result.

I need to get back on the ice. A bunch of buddies have been bugging me to play some men's league.

yeah, that **** *****. personally i think being a couple feet off the boards is 100x worse than being on open ice.

mens league here is fun. we have a weekly pickup game for the A players. mostly just a bunch of guys who played for the throughblades before they moved to cleveland. weve also got a few czech guys who are in school at uk, they come out and whip everones ass.
