i'm looking to get some subs for my bmw e30. I would like to keep the weight down. box is gonna be ported. not sure on the power i want to run, probably up to around 1000rms. budget is around $200-$300. i listen to mainly rap and am more oriented towards SQL. i still haven't decided if i want a few 8's, a 12 or a few 12's or what but i'm kinda leaning towards a single. a few i've been thinking about are Sundown SA, ID or IDQ, Dayton HO. what do you guys recommend?

A single 12" SSA Dcon will fit the bill and only will require 400 watts to sound good, plus a decent amp are usually rated at 4-500 watts on 4 ohms which will require no electrical upgrades.
