What do you guys spray on your ground ring terminal to protect it from rust, corrosion, etc.? This is assuming your ground is connected to the frame.

I coat the terminals under the hood in petroleum jelly. I'd do the ones inside the cabin too if I thought it necessary

cover that **** in silicone or bed liner coating. if your a cheap azz then just use plain paint.

I understood. I use the same terminals under the hood, but if you're grounding to the frame from within the car it shouldn't get much exposure.

I've used petroleum jelly because it's what I've had on hand and it's better than nothing, but I'm going to have to agree with tc300; dielectric grease would be the proper thing to use

Plasti-dip is what I started using, and haven't had any issues since.

Grease collects dirt and debris..High gloss paint /paint or plasti dip sounds like a winner..There is also a spray at Orileys/Autozone for batt terminals that will work very well also
