i have no experience with the camera personally i can't say to much. however i have had experience with a few konica monolota cameras and i would have to say i am very pleased. canon is the benchmark to me, and i'd say they compare very well

hehe i HAD a G600, but sand got into it and you know wat happnes. i mite be selling it for someone that knows how to fix cameras.

yea like this is what happened, i took it to mexico for the beach and i got sand in the sliding cover so it wouldnt trigger the switch to turn the camera on (i found that out by opening the camera up) so now for some reason when ever i flick that switch, it says Error ##### and suddleny turns off. and the lense is stuck out.

well if you do think its sand, and its out of warrantee i'd open it up and blow it off thoroughly with some canned air

Just avoid kodak point and shoot cameras; they seem to have a major problem with the plastic gears in the lens stripping off inside the camera.

you and that other ****** metalmaxima still think its neccesary to have

i did... opened the camera up and used an air compressor to blow the crap out of it. seems like when i did that, the error screen appeared, and the lense got stuck.

anyone want a messed up Dimage G600?
