it puts out 500 watts more than the jl
some people say they dont like the sound of the jl amps... but i find this rediculous... between a jl1000/1 and a hifonics bx1500d you should hear any difference in sound quality because both amps have distortion below audible levels.
bottom line, the bx1500d is cheaper and more powerfull than the jl1000/1
you wont hear much difference, but if money isnt in question.....

i like the viper 2500 idea too.. 1250 watts a piece... nice. all 3 amps would work great

yea that sounds good to, but i want the best for these puppys i dont care what it takes. i want my system to be b!tchin. these is going in the back of my h2
2 JL 1000/1s would definitely look the best next to two W7s. I believe that a watt is a watt, so any amp that is in a similar power range should make no audible difference (except maybe an amp with sh!tty crossovers), and if you wanted to run more power, you would have to about double the power to hear the difference. Choose an amp that is in the power range that you want, with the features you want, that's reliable, and you should be fine. If the money doesn't matter, I'd go with JL.
