what difference does size make in a sealed enclosure?

Best way to describe it is say I am listening to Rage Against The Machine.... Where with the 2.0 the bass notes were a litte longer or deeper I guess. Now with the 1.0 they are snappy but not quite as deep. Sound level seems the same.
