the only prob is that i am out in cali for only 4 months (3 left) and i really don't have access to anything to work with wood. Al and eds quoted me 250 to build a box. the new boxes fit quite nicely behind the seat they are the perfect height and length actually. i turned the sub level down and adjusted the gain on the amp and i think i have found a happy medium for them. They get about as loud as the fosgates but go wayyyy deeper. i spend 60% of my time in the truck watching for movies so i guess it'll work out. thanks for all the replies. and yeah, i know pre-fab sux but i really don't have much of a choice. i tried some of the local audio stores and all of them were kawks when i said i had soundsplinter. (apparently they were pissed i wasn't buying subs)
