What could I use this basket for?

My buddy gave me this sub which was fried. I ripped out the cone and everything else. I currently have a type R 15 in a tcab style box. Could I get this reconed and turn it into a better setup then what I have or should I just chuck it?

Yeah thats what I thought. The basket is cheap and flimsy. Well it was a thought

It's a bottom line Power Acoustik. Not really worth fixing, imo.
