depends on the resonant frequency of your vehicle, anda whole bunch of other things.... without a meter to test on... good luck gaining 3 db.

wrong sir. i gain about 3 dbs from just about the same tunnin changes. but its all depends on the equipment and box. if your setup is allready maxed out "box peaked" then i doubt you will gain anything but if your feeding each l7 a little bit of power then its possible but if are pushing them passed their max their probably allready peaked and no matter what you do will it not gain.

just the other day i gain 2 dbs from changing my tunning.

he has no idea what he NEEDS to tune to... I know 3 db probably CAN be had, I just doubt it will happen simply by raising the tuning arbitrarily.

and the way you had it when you where metered...try sliding the box as far back as you can towards the tailgate

Last time I metered them I was feeding each L7 about 1,150 watts rms. They are each in 4.1cubic ft...I was also told to add sound deadend to my car...my trunk vibrates way tooo much

dont use dynamat unless you do small sections at a time and test and if you can still remove it if it dont work. most of the time ive used the stuff ive lost.

you can also try forward and if you got acces to a mic test and test. mess with your visors seats positions. mess with your glove compartments and so on. ive gained over a db by just messing with seats and visors. also what kind of amp are you using and what kind of battery?

very nice amp we ran 4 at finals in 2004 in our street c crx. they will run down to .35 for burps. so that may also be another thing you can play with.

Well, I would deff find a termlab and try some diff box's out. I would aslo look into aero ports if i were you.
