silpads are what go between the fets and the heatsink, transfers heat but not electricity

I actually DID clean them up, not sure if those are the before or after pics though lol but there are some small funky stains in the paint and lotsa paintchips n stuff

And the PPI amps are really nice back in the day amps. Could try ebay rather then craigslist. And clean them up some if you havent already done so.

You can get silpads at Audio and Video, Computer Parts, Batteries, Cable and Wiring at MCM Electronics . I think even parts express has them.

Your price on the kicker is not an awesome deal for a blown amp. If you need the cash really bad I would think you'd drop the price about 20 bucks. I mean you were asking what they would be worth right? Kinda what I was getting at with my first post is that you might be a little high for a quick sale.

not sellin a 1200.1 for $50... especially not if I have to ship it. I was supposed to sell it to audioatg but I have no transportation or time. I guess it's going to float around here for a while until it can be fixed or until I can find a local buyer that will pick it up
