By the way, I am very glad I didn't end up buying an Eclipse. Just in the last two days there are 3 different threads about problems with Eclipse HU's. I was this close to buying an 8445 until I realized it didn't have a detachable face. Who doesn't make a detachable face these days?! What is this, 1991? I hear the SQ is great, but what good is SQ if you get your deck stolen? I'm hoping the 880 sounds great anyway.

Just got an Eclipse 8061 awhile back. It was in production in 2001 I think. It was brand new in the box. Copper plated chassis, 16 volt preouts balanced, etc. Nice.
