I almost got a 8455, but its too complicated for me, my amp is confusing enough. I used to have a Pioneer with way more adjustment, but it fried my brain trying to tune it all in. That 8455 does have alot of flexibility however and i imagine theres alot of cool things you can do with it.

But to answer your question, id look on ebay, ive seen some on there go really cheap, most are new in the box. I got mine on there. $350 retail, got it for $160 in perfect condition.

Wrong Bro the 8455 MSRP is 649.99 and I've only seen 2 on ebay.One sold for 575(Which was stupid to pay that much for it on "EBAY"). And the other one was for 300 buy it now but was pickup only in Pannsylvania.I'm Florida so.........You do the math. Man I would like to spend 400-450 at the most for one.

What was I wrong about? I said i got mine on there for $160 which is $350 retail. Mine being a CD5435 not a 8455. Anyway, no matter how badazz the headunit, somewhere theres always someone wanting to get rid of one, good luck with the hunt.

pioneer deh-p7700! i had a sony xplod head unit and thought it was nice but after i got this pioneer and messed with the equalizer and subwoofer options it made them atleaste 4 times louder! i know 2 other people with the model above and below mine and really never have any problems with them and they arent too boring. but also i know 2 people with kenwood head units and one dude just got one so he had a head unit and it is a MAJOR POS!! it looks ok but there are no options and my cousin got his dad a kenwood head unit and it is very nice with a lot of diffrent types of options! Either kenwood or pioneer is the way to go with a head unit i thnk
