what arethe cons to doing this?

I want to fit a 15" into the trunk of my car, a 94 Mazda 626. the problem is I don't have the height available to slide the box in to my trunk. What are the cons to doing a CRX style box (sub up, port back) in a trunk car?
i had to do the same thing in my trunk car, if your forced to do that its just not worth it..

Sub firing at trunk lid the bass just doesnt make it into the cab compared to rearward firing setups.. Is what they mean by "choking the sub"

No one even suggests a slanted front or rear baffel with port on side? or on the same face if box is wide enough?

Or get 12" and power them the same - lots of power and you will barely notice the difference.

Have already purchased sub?
