i have used both v1se and the new v1se2 i put the v1se on my front doors and trunk lid. on the trunk lid i followed up with like 5 coats of v3. several months later i noticed the stuff in the doors was coming off. but i attribute this mostly to my crappy cleaning job before putting it on. the v1se+v3 on the trunk lid has held strong for over a year now and is showing no signs of letting go at all. about 4 months ago i ripped all the v1se off my doors and after cleaning them very well i put in 2-3 layers of v1se2 which is butyl based and much more pliable than the original v1se. it went on smoothly and so far it is holding up very well. i also painted on several coats of v3 while i had the door panels off. that might help the deadener stay in place. i say that the new v12 and v1se2 are good products for their price. sure there are better products out there and if you have the money i wouldnt hesitate to buy rammat or any second skin product. but if you are deadening on a budget then eDead is a solid choice. ~Magick_Man~
