What are some good rca wires to get

I know shielded (and I think twisted ) are great to get, but don't know which ones to get that are actually good and also is 6 feet long enough for a Passat wagon?

Six feet is long enough for any vehicle as long as the amp and head unit are less than six feet apart by way of routing cables. ;-)

You might be able to use 6 ft RCAs if the amplifier is going under one of the front seats. Take a piece of rope and run it tightly along your planned layout to see how long the RCA needs to be. If you route the RCAs away from the usual sources of radiated noise(blower fan, fuel pump, relay packs, etc.) you don't even need shielded RCAs.

I just used these for my wifes passat sedan and they were barely long enough. I routed the cable behind the front console down the drivers side under the carpet and door sills and then ended within 6 inches of entering the trunk. Had to mount the amp under the trunk carpeting on the left right next to the left passenger seat. I would use a 20ft if I did it again, however the cable itself was great for the price.

flea market 2 dollar rcas, if your lucky you get good bang for your buck. If your not, you'll hear a bang instead.
