What are some 4" coil subwoofers?

"USUALLY" Voice coil size is related to power handling. The bigger the coil the higher the power rating. And sometimes the higher the inductance.
but then again...

Solo X 12" = 3"vc (2500rms)

Mtx 12" 9500 thunder = 4"vc (1000rms)

treo 12" SSX = 4"vc (2000rms)
That is true to somewhat of an extent. But another thing that makes more of a difference is the actual properties of the coil itself like how many layers, 2,4,8? What kind of material? Copper or aluminum? Flatwound or round wire? Cooling systems integrated into the motor? Those make more of a difference than anything else. The actual STRENGTH of the 4" coil is usually greater than a 3", but there's a bunch of different stuff you can do to help the coil to sustain those power levels for long periods of time. A burp-SPL motor and coil is far different than that of a daily ground-pounder.

SoundStream XXXAtomic APXX 4"

RD Audio SuperHeavyWeight

T3 Audio TSNS

Cactus MKII

Addassa SPL

MTX 9500

Rockford TRF

Rockford HX2

Orion HCCA

4HP motor

TC Sounds LMS 5400/Audiopulse LMS Ultra

TC Sounds 5200 (4hp)

PAP WMD

Audiobahn AWX

Treo SSX or CSX (i cant remember which one)

the list goes on.....
Pretty sure you mean teh PAP MOAB, thats their 4" coil POS.

Also for Treo its the SSx and their CXT

The cactus Elite, MKI, and MKII are all 4"

There are a few others, but you did a good job on the list.

I guess I dont get what your trying to do, youve had a lot of threads about bigger amps, then smaller, now you want a 4" coil sub?
Maybe it be better if you just state your goals and we help you get to that point instead of going in every direction possible with no outcome?
This is my goal loud daily driver. Not to sure but looking like either 2 12" or 1 15" but I need an amp that can be inbetween. I only ask 4" coil because I was curious what difference it makes. If i knew maybe I would know how that incorporates into my goal but because i dont...I do not know

Little clarity.

I now have 3 batts....So maybe a solid amp that does around 4k-4.5k at 1-.5 that way a 2-1.5 load would be around 3.5k

but in reality, i'd be more comfortable giving the ssx 2500rms daily as apposed to the soloX which is rated 2500rms.

Kicker Solo-X 18 has a 3.5 inch coil.
