I'm going to make a guess this driver will go the way of the XXX6.5 - heavily dependant on the lowpass crossover and unnecessarily inefficient for the sake of the low FS and high Xmax.

I'm not sure if those pics and those specs go together.

He says the mid will be a revamped Extremis (which is what the pics look like).

But then lists specs for an upcoming 6.5" subwoofer, which are the specs you listed above.

So, I don't think we have specs for the drivers in the pics yet. And we don't have pics of the driver that those specs belong to.

Either way.....interesting. Though there seems to be a lot of "internet companies" popping up out of the woodwork here anymore.

Kicking a dead horse, saw this ad on SIN.

If the company is guilty of one thing, it's bad advertising. All their ad says is "We built a 6.5 driver around pure excursion without any thought to SQ, efficiency, or practicality. Pure excursion, baby! We even put the 18mm Xmech in the T/S specs dispite it being totally irrelevant to anything!"

Way to go, Mpyre!
