I never built anything over 1800 rms so spl was never my thing anyway. SQ geared systems might not meter well, but a good powerful SQ system was fun to run in bass races. I ran 2 diamond audio 10s that I swore sounded a ton louder than my type R did, but still metered a full DB lower. That damn meter is a fickle bastard.</p></blockquote><p></p>
