anyone ever use a 3.5" for a carputer?? Only ones i've seen are laptop drives, but if this could work !!! ...hm...

yes it would work just fine in a carputer, otherwise 3.5" externals usually need external power while many 2.5" drives can be powered right off the usb port.

also 2.5" take up less space and may be better at handling the constant vibrations in the car environment since they are meant to be portable(no proof on that though)

yeah, the portable part would definitely make sense.

Got my hard drives today. All post well and are free of any defects. These came wrapped in anti-static bags and packaged pretty good. Killer deal and I'd do more deals if available.

none. Buy an external hard drive case, put this drive in it, hook it to your computers usb input, and your done.
