Were to get a 3" voice coil to recone a sub?

im thinking about reconing a subwoofer i have because im not sure about the coil in it now and id love to try something uber, like all you cool cats on here....anyone have any ideas? id love to just play around with something or if i should send it somewere, its one of elevation audios old x woofer's the basket is double stacked so i would have to have some mods and what not but any help would greatly be appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ask scott @ fi, or david @re about it i know both of them build custom woofers. you may also be able to send it to TC.

he is quick about it too. ive sent him a pm over on ssa.com, and he replied within 24 hours.. David on the other hand.. he takes like a week to respond to a pm on here

koo, thanks for the advice ^. I dont know what to do with my HC...whether i should get a recone from scott-would be either: original HC recone with a blank **** style dust cap (MT style) with stronger tinsel leads and spider, or a hybrid recone with softparts up to a Q-the btl coil wont fit =\.

Or I can send it to david and have him put on "better than stock parts" both are about equally priced...~15$ difference. I already have a sq/sql woofer right now, being my claw basket mag.
