Note the output sections of alot of these amps will need Gap Filler, not sil-pad. The Sil-Pad is not usually thick enough, but they may well make it also, but the factory uses Gap Filler. This stuff can get expensive too.

just gap filler and no sil pads? could i just use gap filler for the whole thing?

I've heard Kapton tape will work too. What thickness of tape would you need to insulate the big amps?

A big part of those sil pads is they are heat transfer devices too, not just electrical insulators. I've never used gap filler... I've just trimmed the mosfet legs so its flush and at the correct level so I can't comment on that.
