Got pulled over last night for going 90 in a 60. It was also 1am, so being 17 I get a violation for that too. Never had a ticket before, or other offense. I'm hoping I can get out of it in that case. Anyone else had this happen? If I don't get out of it what should I expect?

You've had one year to not fuck up and you did. Why would they let it off.
Good point. Speeding never hurt anybody, unless the person speeding ***** at driving. It was on a straight line highway, I had to be up at 6 to run, I just wanted to be home. Bad idea. Haha

They would pull your license here for king that on the one year provisional.
Good luck lol

If they do that I'm f*cked I have to work, and go to classes and what not. If I can't drive then that's the end of that.

Get a lawyer. I'd think at a minimum he'd be able to get it so you could drive to work/school only.
If I have the cash I will. Would they really pull my license? The chick that pulled me over said I'd probably have a few fines and driving school if I want to keep it off of my insurance. I guess it varies from state to state. I have a court date, so I'll say not guilty and try to negotiate with the attorney.

IDK it depends on your state and judge. We don't have provisional licenses here. Either way the money you spend on a lawyer will pay for itself in money you'd save on insurance vs not getting one.

That's true, my big goal was to keep it from my parents because they will overreact and make the whole situation worse.

Well hopefully he finds the niceties in his heart to give me one **** and keep my punishment minimal.
They're in his chamber because he doesn't give them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Can't do the time, don't get caught driving so god damn fast.

I know, but maybe he will donate one out of his big pile. Honestly, I think the cop was hiding somewhere she isn't allowed. I was on a three lane highway with concrete in the middle so cops can't wait anywhere safely, she wasn't driving, and she wasn't parked on the side of the road, she just popped out.

They hide everywhere here. Including private property, which I think is fucked up. Wouldn't that be trespassing? I got pulled for rolling a stop sign, and the cop that saw me was hiding behind a building on a church campus. Peeked out just enough to see the sign, but not to be seen. That cost me about $180 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I agree. It's kinda stupid. But cops are cops. I roll stop signs late at night too.

Maybe you should follow the law? It's their for a reason, and by not following the law... you just funded the government and kept food on that nice police officers dinner table.

I know in a lot of states it's illegal for cops to sit with their running lights off at night, as well as needing permission to sit on private and commercial property that isn't owned by the state. if she was sitting with her lights off that could be your ticket out of your ticket lol. but a lawyer would be the person to confide that kinda **** too. it is expensive but you have no idea how much smoother and easier it will be, not to mention the end results/long term affects will be much more positive with a lawyer.

yeah, the judge has no ***** for you, sorry man. lol unless you're 22 years old, blonde with a big rack, every cop and judge is gonna give you the typical ********.

keep speeding, **** the police. lol

oh, and if they take your license you should be able to get a release or what ever to drive to work/school during certain times. good luck holmes.

Thank you man, I'll definitely find myself a solid lawyer.
