Finally got everything installed... The RE 10, the CDTs (again), and the 1100d5... Sounded great... Needed to mess with a few settings, but really sounded decent for what it is... Anywho, I was rolling to my buddies' house and all of a sudden it just all cut off... Got to their house, checked the main fuse... good... Checked my ground and power and probed the remote with a dmm... good... RCAs... good... After looking around, I think I figured out what happened. On these modle directed amps their gains and fq settings and everything are on top of the amp behind a window... I simply left the window off, not really thinking it was a big deal.... Well what I failed to realize is that the window also holds down a metal plate!! What it looks like happened was that the metal plate bounced up slightly and actually slid into the amp a tiny bit.... Without takin off the cover I am assuming it bridged something that wasn't supposed to be bridged and shorted out the amp... Only logical explination I have come up with... I'm going to bust it open tomorrow and see if I am right.... I guess the reason I post this is in hopes that I may have overlooked something and this is not the problem... And it did help a little to vent my stupid mistake.
