ok, dog chewed through the cord on my router. ****. well i got 6 more holes to cut and then all the cuttings done on my box, and i wont need antoher router for a looong time (well, im hoping i wont want a new build for a loong time but you know how that goes) so id rather not buy one. does anyone in the DFW area have a router i could borrow for a few days? i got an amp ill put as collateral, and obviously replace it if something happens to it

well, the router is like 25+ years old so replacing it will be wayyy to much of a hastle. and also, splicing it, the whole wire looks half corroded, its probabbly better i just dont touch this thing again

In that case, cut whats left of the cord off........................................

and whip the hell out of the dog with it.

Do you have a jig saw? You can do it that way. I also second the replacing the plug. I think Ace/home depot has them for around $5 if that. Not too hard to do and will get you by for the couple holes.
