I recently installed a Jensen 2610 cd player/amfm into my 91 Cougar (:/) The directions however forgot to mention to connect one of the wires to the ground on the harness, which is apparently the wire for my lights. But after that it worked, only that it switches on/off when i turn my lights on/off. I can live with that. But when I was testing the sound/volume/bass treble etc it stopped working. The LCD doesnt give off any type of light now, but it shows that theres power b/c the power button is lit up. None of the buttons on the faceplate work. It shows like a faint AM 12:00 but then dims again and shows nothing occasionaly. I really dont know what to do atm, and if theres a way to do it w/o taking off my dash again and taking the whole thing out; itd be very helpful. And if i have to take it off, id need to figure out what wires to change because frankly im new at this :/ Thanks in advance.
