[QUOTE="B FROM DA CREEK, post: 5894464, member: 609935"] Alright...i got an '85 Monte Carlo LS...i installed my XDVD8181 and it worked perfectly...until i realized it didnt go off when i shut off the car...even without the keys... So sumbody told me to ground it to a fuse block under the dash...i had started to and then i had to leave so i juss hurried up and wired it back together and mounted it into tha dash again (while i had a movie playin) and when i put it back the sound went out....all 4 speakers just like went on mute or sumthn... so i pulled it out to see why it did that and then when i did that the power just shut off...and STILL hasnt powered back up...i think i may have shorted tha wires to the car...and the ones to the head unit...because I tried to ground the unit to everything...and it didnt work not once...and i cant even arck a spark no matter what i touch it to... any suggestions??...thanks...
