Weight of 3/4" mdf sheet?

is this true?

The primary drawback to this product is weight. A 3/4" x 4' x 8' sheet can weigh as much as 70 to 90 pounds per sheet. The density of the core is expressed as the weight of a one cubic foot (1'x1'x1') block of the material. Therefore, an MDF sheet using a 48# (pound) core, will weigh 96 pounds. (48"x96"x3/4"= 2 cubic feet)

****!

10 sheets of 3/4" MDF = 960lbs

4 15" MT's = 244lbs

4 MA HK4000D's = dont know the weight on these yet...

14 Turbostart 16v batts = about 560lbs

1764 lbs before amps, 1/0, etc....holy shit

What I don't understand is why people complain about the weight of MDF while they're using multiple sheets of it. It's heavy, that's obvious. Use TruPan if you want to save weight.
