Hey...
EASY WAY:
install windows 2000 Pro on a shitty old desktop.
go to the windows components section under control panel and add/remove software..
ADD: IIS Internet Information Services Package...
there will be a directory created in your C drive that is the "active" directory, add a basic HTML page in there called index.html ... type the IP address of your desktop in the internet explorer window ie:
http://192.168.1.101
if you see the html page, then its working.
on your router, login and forward Port 80 to the IP that your windos 2000 computer is. best choice is to STATIC IP the computer under Internet and Network Connections, TCP/IP Settings.
like
IP 192.168.1.50 (below your routers Assigned IPs)
SUBNET 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1 (usual IP for routers)
and set it.
go to somewhere that gives out free IP forwarding , google search "dynamic IP web forwarding" and setup a free .com like, "myfreesite.whatever.com" and have it forward to your home internet connection VIA a update program that will install on the windows 2000 desktop.
buy a .Com for 16 bucks from godaddy, and forward IT to the free site.
http://www.suckycock.com/ forwards to
http://myfreesite.freeserver.com forwards to
dynamic IP assigned from brigthhouse or verizon or whatever..
