What about something like youtube but just about car audio maybe a news report, weekly news letter get some people to put up adds, have a section on basic things such as doing the big 3 wiring an amp, wiring subs, interactive tut's, mabye a slight forum for people to ask questions, a monthly best system with a small prize.

Problem is I dont have the time to keep it updated with this stuff...

Im more thinking on the lines of the members or guests get to add the info. Maybe even just a page full of advertising.

Here is my thoughts.

Top of the main site is a floating revolving display of flyers for the audio industry, car shows, whatever...

Middle of page is a map of the US where you can break down by state to see the flyers/posts people make.

In said state will have a for sale section similar to craigslist and then also a carshow/audio show section to upload your flyer.

Cost would be $1 a week to upload and or post a show/sale thread.

Thoughts on the idea?

Take a look at how many members are here and the traffic that is in the for sale thread, as a ratio Im sure its not that great. What about a database of every sub out there and a place for users to submit information on subs. Kinda like a subwoofer wikipedia

I don't think people selling CA would be willing to spend money on ads.

They can do it for free on forums etc.

Plus usually when you're selling - its when you are upgrading or in need of money.

i.e someone hurting for money isnt going to spend $1 a week to sell something when they could for free and not take a loss in the process..

As for the upgraders, its not like the item they're selling has to be moved ASAP - another reason to not spend a buck a week.
