The word "hater" just strikes me as ignorant and dismissive.

I do find the word being used way too much, but I also think our increasingly self-centered culture has resulted in more and more resentment and contempt for our fellow man leading to "hateful" commentary

I am not noting any ethnicity by using hoodlum. I have seen it by more than one ethnicity. The common bond is that they are unsavory individuals.

we are turning into a nation of people that calls everyone a hater just because they disagree with you.
if you agree "oh thanks man"

if you disagree "oh you're just a hater"

maybe instead of resorting to calling everyone that disagrees with you a hater, why not just call them a critic and listen to what they say? maybe that have a better point than you.

It all pretty much comes down to the person. Its human right to have an opnion, and 99.9999987% of the time no one agrees because everyone thinks different. No one can agree on anything, and I doubt it will ever happen. Yes us as a nation, is in a state of f*ck you pay me, but how long have we been like this? Its alot things wrong with us as a whole, but people dont see it like that.
