Mark Potts. He did very well in competition, and his success was based on extensive testing. He built (according to him) dozens of different boxes until he found the best performing setup for his vehicle/install/class. He then claimed this research would carry over to building generic boxes for virtually any car, which any knowledgeable person would know is false. But a lot of people bought into his bullshit, literally. I saw it coming, I tried to warn people, they didn't listen. *shrug*
Last I heard he used the money he stole from those people to buy a new car (some gay Toyota or something) and most people had given up on getting their money back. If the IRS really did catch up with him, or more traditional authorities (the cops), I haven't heard about it. He and I use to go round and round on this forum, he was a douchebag with an enormous ego. Pushing his buttons was so easy, and fun.
