i had some walmart subs before my type rs i have now. they were jensen xs-1010's they got pretty loud. the subs had a little distortion but not much. i like my rs a lot more. heres a link to the jensens...

i just want to see how loud i can them while remaining decent sq... it would be sad if i could get 3 12's for a 100 bucks that sound as good and get as loud as a 200 dollar 12 or 15 lol

i'll let you know what my results are if i ever get this done

I used to own ELF 15s! They had about 300 watts apiece, of course at the time I was n00bish and used the full 18dBs of bass boost at my disposal, so I can't tell you how good they sound. They did shake the hell out of my car. They also had some nice excursion for a cheap woofer. I didn't even blow them!
