Wall for 8"s?

i have a 10 in mah pants

This isn't anything set in stone. Just kicking around the idea, considering all of the great deals on 8"s now. I tried adding another 18 and doing a wall, but it was just not going to happen

generally a wall would be anywhere from 16-32 cubic feet of airspace.

Find the thiele small parameters of an 8" you wish to run and figure how much cone area it would take to run correctly in that airspace.

I can tell you you would need at least 16 8s in a wall to be any benefit over a non wall with fewer large subs.

Was this in the trunk I have ran the 1508's already, was very satisfied. But looking at the Sundowns or the new Pierce's whenever they are relaesed

That build was sick, i remember it vividly on ROE, idk if i was on caraudio at the time:crazy:

And i dont remember what number it did, sure it was decently loud

And yes....i bought 8 RE RE 12s during that group buy for like 500 bucks ha

Found a thread saying it did 150 at the headrest and 155 on the dash around the 35hz range, not sure if that was sealed up or not. That was on the "linear x" meter whatever that is, but that sounds loud for a low frequency from a gaggle of 8's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Ahh his build log never gets old. Must be sick.

Here is the finished product,no vids until atleast the middle of the week.I still have to redo the wiring on the amps and clean up all my empty boxes.
