i hate when people diss the jl w7 for reasons other than price. it is hand's down a top 5 driver in SPL SQ and Sql IMO. i have heard them and the only driver's i liked more than the W7 for Sq were the Focal Utopia line and the IDMAX but that is a very close call on the MAX. now for SPL i have seen one ran off of a zapco c2k 9.0 feeding it roughly 2200rms b/c the amp benched at 2700. it pounded like i would have never thought it would. many other woofer's out there are great just like the W7 but IMO after hearing a few in the right setup's they are tought VERY tough to surpass.

if you are looking for good sq and you have the money dont hesitate to get the w7's

2 w7's around 1grand to your door and 2 1000/1's around 1200 for a pair so around 2200-2400 including install and all that good stuff.
