W7 vs L7

if you had your choice, what sub would you choose? I just bought my L7s but my neighbor wants to buy them off me and I'm considering just because I'd like a W7. I dont think the one W7 would be as loud but I'm sure it would have more SQ.

um, the L7's get loud, but the sq isn't very good

the w7 is ok loud, but the sq is incredible

so it all depends on what you want

the pair of L7's would be louder, but the one w7 would kick *** in sound quality

I've yet to hear a W7 setup that impressed me SQ wise......but the SQ from them is still better than I've heard from a L7. So, yeah, you need to decide; SPL or SQ. Or you could be totally original and buy a XXX.....hehehe

Well, the W7 will still get damn loud, so I guess you need to decide if the additional SQ is worth the extra money

ok heres a question ive heard the W7s are tricky to install because of the weird mountin ways and the weird ohms. i was told if i was going to get a w7 i should get a shop to install it so i get a warranty, im not really big on that idea id rather install myself.

Read on JL's website the wiring configuration. Or, just break down and get it installed for a "few bucks", and have the warrenty.
