w7 brahma eclipse???

iight guys look i dont have all the money in the world..bought my setup from my cousin for cheap...but I really want to be louder and stil have sq which cost money...i know. right now i have a 12 :stuck: w7 and the JBL bp 1200.1. Heres what i'm thinking.....I could either sell the w7 and get like 15'' titanium eclipse-will let my amp put out 500 more watts rms; I could sell my amp and get a better more powerful amp for my w7; or I can buy the adire brahma and sell the w7. What s the best thing to do? I want it to def. hit harder and still sound good...I wouldnt mind losin a lil sq but I still want it to sound good. thanks for all the inputs......HELP MEEEE

Well, the Brahmas dont need gobs of power to pound your brains in.

Obviously i would say get a Brahma since i have 2.

To me they sound cleaner, not "whooshy".

If you dont want to sell it buy some more watts

i could sell the amp i ahve and buy another one... but i think the price difference would be smaller just to sell the w7 and get a 15" brahma or 15" titanium eclipes. so i think the decision lies in weather i need to sell teh w7 and get either the brahma or eclipes, or just hold onto the w7. the thing is with the bp1200.1 jbl amp, it runs liek 1400 rms at 1ohm but the w7 has a 3 ohm coil so it only runs 900 rms. so how do the brahma compare to eclips and what is the price on those??

once again, this is a thread of flip a coin, (kinda hard with three options) but you get the idea, all three are excellent subs, I personally would get the Ti, or the Brahma

I would want the Brahma....another sub to consider is a 15" XXX. Very similar to the brahma.

What size enclosure do you have? I think a different enclosure would be your best, and cheapest bet. That amplifier has plenty of power as it has been rated in magazines at over 1400 watts. The Eclipse might be able to get louder, but won't sound as good. The Brahma in my opinion is just a lateral movement rather than an improvement. I'd recomend working on the enclosure.

my amplifier can only put out about 900 RMS because the w7 is a 3 ohm single coil. so in other words, i either need a different amp or a different sub. i had a ported and sealed box for this sub, and the ported box was not as loud as the sealed, prolly due to the RMS supplied. i could probly sell my 12w7 for a lot of money instead of buyiong a new amp, which might be cheaper.
